Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, along with related skills in mechanical knowledge, carpentry, HVAC, and construction. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring safety and compliance with building codes. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics to complete installations and repairs Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support project needs Collaborate with team members on construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential failures Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations when necessary Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials used for each project Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, welding, and working at heights or confined spaces Requirements Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within commercial or residential environments Strong mechanical knowledge combined with skills in carpentry, HVAC, welding, and construction practices Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments Valid driver’s license for commercial driving as needed for transportation between job sites Experience working with schematics and assembly instructions is preferred Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our clients’ infrastructure while providing opportunities for professional growth within the construction industry.
